StandardWriter Software Training
StandardWriter Software guides users through the development of rubrics and product guides, making authentic assessment a breeze! Training should take place in a computer lab, or with laptop computers configured with Internet access. Minimum system requirements are essential, no more than 2 teachers per computer is recommended.
- One day: includes all functionalities of the software; focus is on rubric development and authentic assessment strategies driven by state standards.
- Two days: all of the above with greater focus on instructional strategies and the development of Core Product Maps per grade/ modality.
- Three days for Training of Trainers: prepares participants to assume the role of trainer within their agency.
A free 1 - 2 hour StandardWriter overview is available for local agencies purchasing a minimum package of software.
Recommended length: 1 - 3 days depending on agency goals.
