LoopWriter Software Training

A fun, inexpensive software program for creating Loop (or I Have/Who Has) Games. LoopWriter is simple to use:
    1) type in questions and answers;
    2) “shuffle” the deck; and
    3) select the font size, style and format for the printing of your cards.

When you present these quick and easy to create games to your students, they will be challenged to close the “loop” on the set of questions, or go back to discover where they went wrong.

Training sessions can be held in a computer lab to demonstrate the functionality of LoopWriter and then users work through the creation of a few games with our coaching. If there are no computers available, we prove the value of loop games by playing a few games in small groups. As participants become engaged in a cooperative effort to complete a loop, the benefits of using loop games with students become obvious. Throughout sessions we discuss the use of loop games for vocabulary enhancement and differentiation for all levels of learners and include tips for effective game development and use.

A free 1 - 2 hour LoopWriter overview is available for local agencies purchasing a minimum package of software.

Recommended length: 2 hours minimum, up to 1 day for vocabulary enhancement focus.
